Abstract: The construction of the ICT Centre at the University of the Sunshine Coast is an opportunity to review the original design and purpose of the architectural award winning University of the Sunshine Coast Library building. The article describes the proposed renovations to the existing library building, including the creation of an information commons, and the library expansion into the new ICT Centre. The planned changes reflect the continued growth and development of the university and the impact that this has on the physical, technical and organisational functions and structures of the library.
