To provide a welcoming and information rich environment that promotes student engagement and collaborative learning, underpinned by Western Australia's School Curriculum and Standards Authority.
To facilitate an information to knowledge journey for students, whilst empowering them to become lifelong, independent and responsible learners.
To support teaching and learning by providing a wide range of contemporary information resources and technoligies for accessing and using information.
To provide easy access to a wide variety of quality fiction and non-fiction, pring and online resources that cater for a wide range of reading abilities and interests.
To support the school's literacy programme by fostering a culture of both reading for pleasure and reading for information.
To work collaboratively with teachers in planning and implementing a whole school approach to the teaching of information literacy skills.
To work with ICT staff to maintaing the library's services as a contemporary and integral part of the school's online learning environment.
To promote reading and writing through access to contemporary print and digital collections, enabling students to become active seekers and creative users of information.
