On 30 November, ALIA will release the consultation draft of the four-year plan for the transformation of LIS education and the library and information profession.
The plan has bold ambitions and is intended to strengthen the profession, increase diversity and help create a future-ready workforce.
You will be able to download the consultation draft from the ALIA website, view a message from our President and watch a pre-recorded webinar of ALIA’s Director of Learning explaining the plan.
We would also like to invite you to participate in a Town Hall meeting, where you can listen to the plan live, hear the thoughts of fellow library and information professionals and make your own contribution to the discussion.
While some of the sessions are themed around specific sectors, you can participate in any – and if you’d like to attend more than one, you will be very welcome.
