The service will deliver expertise in vendor negotiations, assistance in forming buying groups, exclusive vendor offers, administration of subscriptions and networking opportunities. Buying groups, exclusive vendor offers, administrative support and networkingALIA CIPS establishes co-operative buying groups among members and negotiates pricing and licensing for these co-operative groups. It provides exclusive vendor offers for ALIA CIPS members. Administrative support for ALIA CIPS members includes administration of subscriptions and providing separate invoicing for each participant, managing trials, disseminating usage statistics and arranging training. ALIA CIPS is an avenue for networking and information sharing about information resources, collection development and industry developments Quality and affordable information resourcesALIA CIPS gives access to expertise in researching vendor offers and negotiating with vendors.
