5th ALIA Top End Symposium - e-volving education

Date: 5 - 6 October, 2007
Venue: SKYCITY Darwin, Northern Territory

The symposium's theme, "e-volving education", focused on the changing ways in which the library and information industry promotes learning and the evolution of how the library industry maintains its own "education" in ensuring that its professionals stay on top of information trends.

The symposium featured a wide range of speakers, from all sectors of the library and information industry, on a range of topics from the evolving nature of the library workforce, to the professional development of library staff, and online learning environments. The event attracted many delegates from the local industry, as well as from regional NT, and interstate.

Symposium papers and audio files will soon be available from this website.
