Business arising
3.1 Group guidelines - held over until next meeting
3.2 Executive Officer/Presidents visit - held over until next meeting
3.3 Working group reports - ALIATE 2nd Top End Symposium
Abstracts received and accepted- successful submissions notified. Minister John Ah Kit has been invited.

New business
5.1 CPD presentation
Robin and Ann have joined the program, with Jayshree offering to be a mentor for the group. Jayshree provided a presentation of the CPD program, and was congratulated on becoming a CPD.
5.2 Futures expo
Robin thanked all involved in the joint ALIA, CDU, Palmerston City Library, Darwin City Council Libraries, NTLIS event. Great thanks to Georgina Dale from national office and Jo McGill for their support. Hundreds of students attended the expo.
5.3 Group support officer
Welcome to new GSO - John Wharam. Thank you to Kira for her work and dedication over the last year.
5.4 Free Trade Agreement
Jayshree tabled a letter from Felicity Williams who has been in touch with the ALIA Copyright officer. Felicity has provided Ruth with a draft letter, and has also written to Trish Crossin and Nigel Scullion on the topic.
5.5 ALIA Issues
Robin has written a letter to Priority Education supporting teacher librarians in high schools.
5.6 CBC winners
ALIA Top End supports the CBC short listed books and winners at a function at NTL.
