Annual General Meeting minutes
Monday 8 December 2003 at 5:30pm at The State Library South Australia.
- Present: Rachel Teesdale-Smith, Tanya Hook, Marie Francis, Fiona Hemstock, Helen Eddy, Benjamin Wheal, Andrew Meier, Jackie Williams, Sue McArthur, Sylvia Muscardin, Caryl Armstrong, Philip Keane, Ray Price, Kate Sinclair (convenor, chair), Kristel Petrou.

- Reports
4.1 Convenors Report: Kate Sinclair reported that it had been a fantastic year for specials with the 10th Asia Pacific Specials, Health and Law Librarians conference held in Adelaide a highlight for the year. Specials had a very busy first 6 months in 2003 with many successfully attended social and CPD functions and tours. The Artlab visit and lunch at Chapel Café to celebrate International Special Librarians' Day, in April, was also a highlight for the group.
4.2 Treasurer's Report: Our current balance as at the end of September 2003 is minus $84.64. We are still holding $241.40 in petty cash.
- New Committee
All current office-bearers are stepping down. Philp Keane will take Caryl Armstrong's position as Health Representative on the committee. Tanya Hook, Catherine Daniels, Benjamin Wheal and Andrew Meier will join the committee but not in office-bearer roles. Kate and Kristel explained about the office-bearer roles of convenor, secretary and treasurer and there was a brief discussion on the possibility of sharing office-bearer roles in 2004.
The new committee for 2004 will be:
Kate Sinclair (until March 2004), Philip Keane, Benjamin Wheal, Tanya Hook, Jackie Williams, Rachel Teesdale-Smith, Andrew Meier, Cathryn Daniels, Sylvia Muscardin, Marie Francis, Blan MacDonagh, Georgia Livissianos.
Rachel Teesdale-Smith will take over as e-list administrator.
The first meeting for 2004 will be on Thursday 5th February 2004 at the Left Bank Café, Pulteney Street at 8:00am.

Thanks to Kate Sinclair for her time as convenor. Thanks also extended to Kristel Petrou as secretary and to retiring committee members Sue McArthur and Geraldine Wardle.
