Networking and social:

8 April - City Library - The place to be
Peter Fraser, the manager of the City Library gave an overview of setting up a new library, the advantages and disadvantages of having a joint use library and the usage patterns of the clientele. City Library staff took attendees on a tour of the building. 16 attended.

25 August - Rich and strange: Tales of library sector change
Librarians who have made some kind of sea change, either moving from city to country or vice-versa, or moving between sectors.
The speakers were:
Cheryl Walker - Hastings Library to Melbourne Grammar School
Susie Moreton - University of Melbourne to DA Information Services
Vicki McKay - Sustainable Energy to City Library
Margaret Smith - State Library of Victoria to Corangamite Regional Library Service
