ALIA Quorum (Qld) [quorum]

Queensland-based group, open to all members. Aims to represent the interests of members to governments (locally), other organisations and the community through active lobbying, dialogue and debate on issues affecting the profession.

Sponsors a mentoring program for south-east Queensland. Other planned activities include workshops and recognition of members' achievements through the awards: Queensland Library Achiever of the Year. The winner of the 2007 Queensland Library Achiever of the Year Award is Suzie Davies.
