Meeting minutes 27 February 2003

- President's report
Jenny and Shane will be able to attend ALIA SA meetings now that dates have been changed. ALIA SA want information for InterALIA re: 2003@your library which Jenny, Shane and Marion have supplied. Has also been sent to inCite. Important that info for InterALIA goes in each month.
- Treasurer's report
Aaron and Julie not present - defer until next meeting.
- Nominations for secretary
Kim volunteered. Gaye nominated Kim and Jenny seconded. All agreed. Kim elected to position of secretary. Gaye will advise ALIA and brief Kim. Action: Gaye
- Events updates
4.1 TTG visit
Visit to TTG didn't happen due to libraries.sa launch. Will try to go ahead for 1 May. 6:15pm for tour and 7:00pm for planning session and nibbles. Shane to book and organise catering. Gaye to organise flier and promotion in InterAlia. Action: Shane/Gaye
4.2 Display Workshop
Jenny will follow up with Retail SA and TAFE for metro and regional. Metro session may work in with marketing best practice as a 2-day event. Try for 3 June. Action: Jenny
4.3 Marketing best practice
Shane following up - possible 2-day event with display workshop. Action: Shane
- Meeting Dates
Committee agreed to try alternating Tuesday and Thursday nights for meetings to give everyone an opportunity to attend as there is not one night suitable for all. Next meeting to be held on 1 April at Bico's and the following meeting to be a planning session for following year on 1st May at TTG.
Next Meeting: To be held on Tuesday 1 April 2003 at Bico's Bistro, 160 Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Hilton (cnr of Hilton Plaza Shopping Centre) at 6:00pm for 6:15pm. (good grub!)
