ALIA New Graduates Group: The social pagesNew South Wales new grads on the loose!25 August 2004 Alyson Dalby Sydney-based new (and some not-so-new) graduates gathered at the pub on the evening of Wednesday 25 August. Identified by the Nancy Pearl doll on the table, about 25 library professionals and students spent the night discussing everything from upcoming conferences to the most violent reactions to a resignation notice! The night was organised as the 'informal' part of a mentoring program for NSW that is currently being developed by Claire Hill, Fiona Bradley and Alyson Dalby (more details soon, I promise!). Given the success of the evening, we'll be repeating the event monthly - Agincourt Hotel, Railway Square, last Wednesday of each month. Look out for Nancy, and hopefully we'll see you there - all library-types are welcome!  back
