ALIA New Graduates Group

Energise >> Enthuse >> Inspire

Energise > Enthuse > Inspire (EEI) is a monthly column in ALIA's news magazine inCite, which seeks to engage and inspire students and new graduates with the Association and our profession. Covering all aspects of library and information science, EEI offers a glimpse into the many and varied careers, opportunities, networks, and prospects available to those entering or seeking to enter the profession.

Why should I submit an article?

Writing for EEI is an easy and fun way to contribute to your profession and have your voice heard. It will gain you points in the ALIA PD Scheme, look great on your CV, and get your name and photo in print.

Who can submit an article?

Library and information students, new graduates, or those involved with the development of new librarians are welcome to submit articles. It is preferred that contributors are current ALIA members.

How can I submit an article?

Please contact the EEI co-ordinator if you wish to submit an article.

EEI seeks submissions of a maximum of 800 words, including a short paragraph about you. You can write about one of InCite's nominated themes or you can tackle another topic that appeals to you. Check here for article submission guidelines. We also need a photo of you. This should be a separate file, in jpg format and has to be a minimum of 100Kb in size to be suitable for print.
