Comments

  • Majority responses from people in Adelaide.
  • Mentorees are librarians and library technicians.
  • Type of mentoring required by both mentors and mentorees is mixture. This provides wide scope for group activities as well as a one-on-one mentoring program.
  • Mentorees are looking for increased experience, skills and knowledge from both a librarianship perspective (IT/Systems skills being the most requested) as well as career development.
  • People seeking mentoring in all sectors, public libraries being the predominant.
  • Most requested time commitment is monthly.
