ALIA Local Studies (Vic) [localvic]

ALIA Local Studies (Vic) Special Interest Group membership is open to all librarians and archivists working in the area of local studies (local history and family history) in library services and archives in Victoria.

The group acts as a forum in which to discuss issues relating to providing local studies services to members of the public.

Meetings are held quarterly, visiting an organisation involved in local studies. Staff at these organisations usually organise a tour of the collection.
