- General business from previous minutes:
10.1 Library and Information Week:
WA activities include the opening of the week at the Constitutional Centre, West Perth on the 20 May, LT's day breakfast at the Boatshed Café, South Perth on the 21 May and a testimonial dinner for Kerry Smith on the 24 May.
We have 3 LT Day badges remaining from last year. After discussion with Bonnie, decided against ordering more as it is the same badge. Have ordered balloons to hopefully arrive by the LT's day breakfast.
Action: Thelma has booked the Boatshed Café for the WALTG LT Day breakfast.
- Board of Directors election:
Deanne Barrett has been elected and is the WA representative. Congratulations Deanne!
- Mentoring program:
Consider how to get students/schools involved and aware. Some possibilities are a 'lunch bag' meeting for students and/or a wine and cheese evening for co-ordinators/lecturers and students to outline program, register student interest and get support from the schools. Maybe a mid or end of year event?
- New business:

Your interest is encouraged as a number of the current committee members will not be seeking re-election and if WALTG is to continue, it must have a committee: 'if you're not involved, we will dissolve!'
