Hot off the Press, 3 March
We easily reached our maximum number of delegates and there were approximately 15 people on a waiting list for cancellations. Overall the event went very well. Kerrie noted that Sita Coaches sent a 48 seater coach instead of a 50 seater due their Commonwealth Games commitments. We utilised spare seats in Kerrie's car. Brad has examined the delegates' evaluation sheets and most comments very good. Some negative comments were received regarding the crowded facilities at the afternoon session.
Tour - National Treasures from Australia's great libraries, 27 April
Gail has been working on the arrangements for the tour. A State Library of Victoria curator, Clare Williamson will be our tour guide. She will provide delegates with a background to the exhibition, selection of objects, etc. Numbers will be limited to 15 to 20 delegates and the tour will begin at 5:30pm. We will require security guard for the tour but the cost will be minimal. It was decided to organise a dinner to follow at the Melbourne Central Lion Hotel. Clare has been invited to be our guest.

- Dinner - Libby and Clare will book a table for dinner
