Minutes for 15 July 2002 meeting
ALIA South Australian Library Technician Group monthly meeting to be held at Fleet Street Café, Pulteney Street, 6:00pm for 6:30pm meeting.
- Meeting opened: 6:40pm
- Present: Karen, Eva, Jennifer, Sharron, Kathy, Amanda, Jackie, Marion. Observers: Cathryn, Helen, Robyn, Stephen Peacock.

- Minutes of the previous meeting held on 17 June 2002: Accepted. Proposed: Kathy, seconded: Karen.
- Business arising from the minutes:
5.1. Regional groups: Nothing to report.
5.2. Riverland Regional group: Tour of Marion Library, Waite Institute Library and Borders Bookshop very successful and enjoyed by all. Jennifer to contact Jaque re forwarding her report to InterAlia and inCite.
5.3. Planning 2002
5.3.1. Mentoring programme: Martina Munn (only response) not really sure what she wants from programme. Is interested in attending Committee meetings and in helping with organisation of Mount Breckan Workshop.
5.3.2. Mount Breckan Weekend Workshop: Deferred until all other business dealt with.

9.1. Future Library Technician conferences: Clear directive from ALIA required before anyone will commit the time and energy to preparing a bid. SALT not interested at this time.

10.1. ALIA SA AGM: 24 July 2002, Bob Hawke Library, University of South Australia for meeting 6:00pm. Dinner at Pullman Restaurant, SkyCity after.
10.2. Avery Labels: Discussion re possibility of session on designing, printing labels at Mount Breckan Workshop. However, Stephen Peacock asked to present session on how to get the best out of labels.
10.3. Mount Breckan Workshop-
10.3.1. Tea, coffee and biscuits for morning and afternoon teas: $2.75 x 3 per head.
10.3.2. Lunch to be baguettes, etc and fresh fruit platter. $11.00 per head.
10.3.3. Dinner Soup: Pumpkin or Chicken and corn. Main course: Chicken fillet with macadamia sauce or roast beef with peppercorn sauce (check on vegetarian alternative). Dessert: Brandy snap basket or hot chocolate pudding with fudge sauce. Tea or coffee: $33.00 per head.
10.3.4. Registration 9:00am to 9:30am.
