New business:Martin Field brought to the group's attention the Senate Enquiry into Progress and future directions of life-long learning. Martin Field for RTRL has made a submission; there have been only three so far.

Action:

• Des Stewart to contact CAUL to see whether they were lodging a submission.
• Jennifer Kirton to alert the Information Library elist.
• Leanne Goodwin to notify the Ballina Friends of the Library group.
• Robyn Murray to post a message to the ALIA NSWFNC elist.
