Action: Lainey (Sec) to advise members of meeting dates on the elist.

Future meeting night and time - suitability?
There was discussion on the following items, including tabling of input from emails from members: (1) Wednesday or Thursday night (2) 6.00 pm start or earlier / later? (3) are school/university holidays a consideration for meeting dates?

Action: Meetings to be held on Wednesday or Thursday nights, to allow for the availability of guest speaker. Meeting time is to be 5.45 for a 6.00 pm start. Lainey to post meeting notices on elist.

Criteria for acceptance to ALIA FNC e-list (Cathie Nilon)
After much discussion it was decided that acceptance to the e-list was to be at the discretion of the e-list co-ordinator. (Cathie Nilon for 2004)

Guest Speaker Martin Field, Manager, RTRL
Topic: IFLA Conference (Berlin, Aug 2003) & International Remainder Book Fair (London, Sept 2003). Martin gave a very interesting talk and tabled several booklets from these two events.
