The Committee is grateful for the support of all of the publishers of this year's shortlist in granting permission for their books to be celebrated and explored as part of the Pre Bookweek Extravaganza.
Each year the ALIA Children's and Youth Services (NSW) Group seeks copyright permission from each publisher to use the books as follows:

• This event attracts children's librarians for a brainstorming session on ways to promote and enjoy the CBCA short‑listed titles with children in libraries.
• A compilation of notes with suggestions for how libraries can promote this book to children will be made available on the ALIA CYS website http://alia.org.au/groups/cysnsw/
• All participants in the Pre book week Extravaganza event are reminded of their copyright responsibilities to request individual
