APSIG forthcoming events

Lunchtime visit to the Haus Tambaran at the Papua New Guinea High Commission, 39 Forster Crescent, Yarralumla.

Come and visit the Canberra home of our closest neighbour. Modelled on the Sepik River 'Spirit House', the Haus Tambaran with its distinctive roof and architecture, is a Canberra landmark. The High Commission staff will assemble a collection of material for us to see.

His Excellency Charles W. Lepani, the High Commissioner, will host the visit.

Refreshments will be served.

October (date to be confirmed) - St Mark's Theological College, Barton

An astonishing collection of rare and remarkable Bibles, including the first Bible translated into an Aboriginal language, will be on display at the Main Hall of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture in October. Dates will be confirmed nearer the time.
