Ah Xian at the Queensland Art Gallery

Organised by the Queensland Art Gallery, this exhibition presents ten works by Chinese-Australian artist Ah Xian. The centrepiece of the exhibition is the life-size cloisonné work Human human - lotus, cloisonné figure 1 2000-2001. This significant work was acquired by the Queensland Art Gallery after it won the inaugural National Sculpture Prize at the National Gallery of Australia in 2001.
