New services introduced by Curtin's Library and Information Service

A number of new services have recently been introduced by Curtin's Library and Information Service. They include -

E-mail to recommenders
Students and staff who recommend items for the library collection now receive an e-mail to inform them when the item has been added to the collection.

RSS feeds
The library has created automated RSS feeds that will advise users of recent additions to the library catalogue. See our RSS feeds web page for more information about this service.

Library services for PDA's
The library now maintains a list of library services and databases which are 'PDA friendly'. Staff and students with compatible PDA's will now be able to access these services and the internet through Curtin's wireless network. For more information see our PDA services web page.

Single search @ your Library
The library has introduced a single search box on its homepage that will search both the library catalogue and website. Other databases, such as eSpace, will be searchable through this facility in the near future. Check out and try our single search box on our homepage.
