City of Perth Library is participating the the inaugural Winter Arts Festival, programmes for which were launched recently.

The festival is designed to 'sustain our artistic appetites throughout the year' and will be held every two years with a different national focus on each occasion.

The art gallery has the magnificent St. Petersburg exhibition July - October and other arts organisations are following the Russian theme.

During library opening hours (9:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm Saturday)

Everyone is welcome to join the Library. Borrow books in Russian, English translations of Russian writers or books on Russian art, architecture and history. Learn Russian through books, tapes or CD ROM. Borrow videos on Russian life and culture.
