Third WA Library Technicians Student Conference Grant awarded

The 3rd Biennial WA Library Technicians Student Conference Grant was awarded to Felicity Seeber, a recent library technician graduate, currently working at Clayton Utz. Applicants for the grant are judged on an essay entry and subsequent interview. The standard of entry was very high and the judging panel had great difficulty making their decision.

The grant, $1000.00 to assist the winner to attend the National Library Technicians' Conference, was awarded at the National Library Technicians' Day breakfast, held this year at 150 East at Ascot Quays in Belmont. 25 library technicians and friends had a very enjoyable breakfast in wonderful company before reluctantly leaving for work.
