June 2005

Awards aplenty, and Library Week happenings!

Welcome to the June issue of Biblia. This month we celebrate the achievements of some very special librarians, library technicians and library studies students. We also report on Library Week activities across Perth. If you are short of promotional material for your library, contact James Butterfield for a free copy of his skeleton posters. Gill Westera has provided an interesting and lively article on 'Library buildings in the twenty first century' with some intriguing links to library spaces in Australia and Europe.

Remember that the Click06 website has now been launched so be sure to keep a check on it for news of the ALIA Biennial conference to be held here in Perth in 2006.

As always diary dates will keep you informed of upcoming events. Remember if you don't see your event in the diary dates column, please contact me direct and I will be sure to add it to the next edition. We are always happy to promote events for not for profit groups.

Happy reading!
