From the editor

Welcome to the April issue of Biblia. This past month has been fun networking at the ALIA icebreaker function held at the defence library service (DLS) information research centre at Leeuwin barracks Fremantle which was well attended. The Western Australian Library Technicians met with Colin Bowles otherwise known as Colin Falconer.

Other changes included a name change for the Local Government Librarian's Association of Western Australia (formerly WALGLA) which is now known as LocLib.

Some events that are being planned is of course the ALIA 2006 Biennial Conference which I'm already planning to attend and workshops on fiction promotion through 'reading rocks' and e-learning which are being sponsered by ECU and WASLA.
