ALIA West
March 2005From the editorWelcome to the March issue of Biblia. Big 'thank yous' must go to Camille Peters this month for coming in at the eleventh hour with copy for this months issue of Biblia. The editors have been a tad busy with new jobs and restructures at work and have not been able to engage in their usual hunt for stories. That's the bane of volunteer organisations. However, like the trooper that she is, Camille has generously submitted a couple of very informative articles. Please remember that the focus of ALIA West is to:
Our monthly newsletter Biblia is our primary means of doing so. However we cannot do this alone. We rely on you, the readers to let us know what interests you, what you want to hear and read about and to let us know what activities your particular group or library are engaging in so we can let others in the information community know as well. Don't be shy! In this world of electronic communications, you don't even have to open your mouth to speak, just put those fingers to the keyboard and fire off an e-mail to either myself or Sharon (please remove '.nospam' from addresses). Whilst we appreciate fully prepared copy, we are more than happy to work from scribbled notes and drafts, or just to be sent a contact to follow up. Biblia is your forum, even more so now that it has been reinstated on the 'free to view' area of the ALIA website. So make use of it. Happy reading! Bonnie Bruce Editorial panel
