Are there any creative librarian-folk out there?

If so, the 2nd ALIA New Librarians' Symposium Committee wants to give you two opportunities to express your creativity. The best part of it all is also that you may end up a winner on both occasions.

Firstly, we would like to remind you of our call for papers. If you have an idea or topic of discussion that you would like to share at the symposium, about your experience as a new librarian, and you can tie it in with one of our themes then visit our website at http://conferences.alia.org.au/newlibrarian2004/index.html for more information. Abstracts need to be submitted by 21 June 2004. 'What can I win from this?' you ask. Your reward will be the invaluable transferable skills developed from presenting a paper at a conference.
