The body in the library
Australia's leading crime fiction writer Gabrielle Lord visited Western Australia in a whirlwind "The Body in the Library" tour during Australian Library and Information Week 2003.
Ms Lord's visits to Subiaco, Albany and Geraldton Libraries were very successful and enjoyed by all who attended. In addition to the popular public talks, Ms Lord also shared her writing expertise and experience with writers in Geraldton and Albany. The one-day workshops received terrific support from writers and Ms Lord was very impressed with the writing talent in both communities.
Ms Lord enjoyed her visit to Western Australia and is keen to return. She also hinted at including WA in one of her novels - so watch out for familiar places and faces.
