Treasurer's report

As at 31 October 2002 the Group's balance stood at -$494.44. Both functions this year (Icebreaker and LIW) made only a slight profit and we would have been closer to a positive balance if there had not been a misunderstanding regarding sponsorship for the LIW finction.

I am still learning about this job and the disappearing (re-appearing) GST component of debits and credits is difficult to come to terms with, but I hope to become more competent soon.

We may need to be more cost conscious in future and try to get back into the black.
