Southwest forum feedback
Dear all, Many thanks for the congratulations regarding the forum! The committee all had a great time and we were really pleased to see such a good turnout (65 delegates). We are now working hard on producing the proceedings. These will be available on CD ROM and will be sent free to all the delegates. Copies will be available for sale to those who weren't able to attend.
The best indication of the forum's success must be the number of people who came up to me and said "I was feeling discouraged about my job - but now I am inspired and energised again!" My great hope is that this enthusiasm will convert into action - and those who attended the conference will get involved in the many opportunities to network and develop professionally.
Once again thank you for the congratulations - it was our privilege to provide the means for such a positive exchange between the speakers and the delegates.

I would like to join Carole in congratulating Bonnie Bruce and her team on presenting a great conference. Sessions were varied, stimulating and fun. I particularly enjoyed Kim Grace, Storytime with a Difference. Kim managed to convince us that we all had some talent as cartoonists!! The venue was very nice and the wild weather made us all glad we were inside.

Thank you for inviting Judy and myself to present our papers at the "Libraries Looking Out" Forum over the weekend.
We both found the sessions that we sat in on very interesting and gained some valuable information from them. Wasn't Kim Grace absolutely marvellous? The talk about an E Library was fascinating and I suppose that is one area that our own library is heading but not on such a grand scale.
Would you please do me a favour. e-mail me some feed back on our display and presentations - we would like to use it for lobbying. Thank you.
