Invitation to join the ALIA Schools Victoria e-list:
Many members have now joined the e-list and they were able to take part in the informative online forum on Blogging: transforming the social into the educational that was held between February 19 and March 5. This forum proved to be a most successful activity. For a comprehensive evaluation and the chance to revisit the discussion access the ALIA Schools Victoria website.

Regular electronic communication with members is again a priority for 2007.

Joint ALIA/ASLA Policy Advisory Group: ALIA is represented on the joint ALIA/ASLA Policy Advisory Group by three members of ALIA Schools Victoria. Anne Girolami is the chairperson of the group with Tilly Stoove and Genevieve Lynch as new committee members. The committee enables communication between the two national organizations that represent teacher librarians as well as joint initiatives and publications.

I wish you all the best for 2007 and look forward to your participation in the planned activities.

Sandra Ryan
Convenor, ALIA Schools Victoria
