InterALIA September 2007
From the Convenor(s)
ALIA SA is proud to announce two new Co-Convenors have stepped up to the
plate. The inspirational and ever-professional Kate Sinclair has decided to
step down from the role for a well-earned rest. Benita Wheeler and Hayley
Gamble are sharing the role and look forward to continuing the busy year
that has been 2007. A huge thankyou to Kate for her time and energy over the past few years, and there is no doubt she will remain a valuable member of
the ALIA SA committee.
As Benita is taking on the Co-Convenor role, invitations are open for anyone
interested in taking on the editorship of InterALIA. There are options as to
what format the newsletter may take in future, so any suggestions are
welcome.
A reminder that the ALIA National Advisory Congress will be held Wednesday 26th September (Adelaide) and Thursday 27th September (Gawler). This is an opportunity for all ALIA members to meet with our local Board member (Philip Keane) and Local Liaison Officer (Jeannine Hooper). Tell your association what you would like to see changed, improved, included.
We also encourage non-members to attend and let us know what we can do to make ALIA membership more attractive.
See "Don't Miss This' for further details.
