Six-monthly report to the Board of Directors

Our group had a membership of 129 in June, and we have 84 subscribers to our e-list.

When the group was proposed, those who agreed to be part of it did not want to commit themselves to much in the way of formalities, and felt that the e-list would be the main benefit of such a group. Traffic on the e-list is relatively light, but useful for requests for information and general information sharing.

A lunch-time gathering was arranged at the ALIA 2002 conference to discuss areas of common interest - only two members were able to attend.

In June a newsletter was sent to all members, and this seems to have stimulated more membership of the e-list.
