- Tuesday 14 May, 12:30pm-1:30pm. Asia-Pacific Special Interest Group (APSIG) lunchtime meeting, Conference Room, 4th floor, NLA. Another in our classic series of Travellers' Tales. - Tuesday 21 May. ACT Library Technicians. 7:30am: celebrate National Library Technicians Day with breakfast at the Crown Plaza Hotel (formerly Park Royal). - Tuesday 21 May. ASSIG/Acquisitions AGM and dinner. Join us at 7:00pm for 7:30pm on The Promenade Deck aboard the South Steyne moored on the tranquil waters of Darling Harbour. $50.00 per person, includes a three course dinner with special guest speaker, Jan Fullerton, director general, NLA. Everyone is welcome to join us for a wonderful evening of gentle swaying, harbour lights, excellent food coupled with an entertaining insight into the life and times of high profile librarian, Jan Fullerton. Presentation about the ACT Government's Health First service: 'The 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week health telephone advice line staffed with Registered Nurses to answer your questions'.
