  • Tuesday, 13 November. APSIG Travellers' Tales. Come and hear from three of your Canberra colleagues: Sally-Anne Leigh (ANU) on 'Singapore - a library tail'; Chris Foster (NLA) on an IFLA-organised workshop in Noumea; Jeanette Regan (Mt Stromlo Library) on the SLA conference in San Antonio, Texas. 4th Floor Conference Room, NLA, 12:30pm-1:30pm.   • Wednesday, 14 November. URLs. Cliff Law, ADFA's academy librarian will speak about future strategic directions of the ADFA library. This is a great opportunity for the University and Research Libraries sector (and others who are interested) to meet the new academy librarian. Seminar Room, ADFA Library, 12:30pm-13:30pm. ALIA members in the ACT are invited to a special showing of the NLA Centenary Exhibition: 'Treasures from the World's Great Libraries', with a tour by the curator of the exhibition, Margaret Dent. 5:00pm-6:00pm.
