ALIA Information Online GroupThe ALIA Information Online Group advances and supports the leadership role of Australian information specialists who put information and knowledge to work for the benefit of businesses, governments, professions and the community. The Information Online Group serves the interests of professionals involved in information management, librarianship, knowledge management, records management, management of information technology, education and training, web management, publishing, consulting and other specialist areas. The Group was formed as the ALIA Information Specials Group in September 2000 from a merger of the national Information Science Section and NSW Special Libraries Section.
