ALIA Local Studies (NSW)

ALIA Local Studies (NSW) promotes the development of local studies collections in public libraries particularly in New South Wales, provides professional development, current awareness, networking, and lobbying on issues pertaining to local studies collections.

Planned activities include regular meetings, professional development seminars (in metropolitan and country areas). Covers primarily New South Wales but members welcome if there is no local studies group in their area.
