Meeting notes and report

The ALIA Local Liaison Officer (or the ALIA member organising your regional meeting) will be responsible for taking the notes and writing the report of the meeting.

Attendance list of personal members and institutional representatives attending the regional meeting

Please ensure those members attending the meeting sign the attendance sheet and provide their membership number

Selection of a representative of the meeting to attend the NAC meeting to be via teleconference on the 30 October 2007

Any financial member attending the regional meeting may be the representative to the NAC.

Responsibilities of being a regional representative attending the NAC include:

• Being available to attend the national meeting in via teleconference on 30 October 2007 at 6.00pm AEST
• Fairly representing the outcomes of the regional meeting
• Being prepared to participate actively in the National meeting

Based on feedback from previous NACs it is suggested that the selection of the regional representative be carried out early in the meeting. This allows the representative to participate in the regional meeting with the knowledge that they will be responsible for representing the meeting at the national meeting.

Note: Please ensure that the ALIA Local Liaison Officer or ALIA member organising the meeting provides the details of the meeting's representative to the national meeting teleconference to Robyn Ellard at ALIA National Office.

Please ask all members attending the meeting to complete an evaluation form before they leave the meeting. It would be helpful for members to include their name and membership number in case we need to contact members for clarification of comments.
