The ALIA National Advisory Congress 2006

Regional meetings program

  • Celebrating success: members are asked to celebrate success by relating successes achieved by the association in their region this year. Purpose: the most popular success story from the meeting will be presented by representatives to the NAC meeting. The success stories are included in the reports of regional meetings that are loaded onto the ALIA website. They are also featured in a celebrating success column in inCite.
    Duration: 10 mins
  • Planning - achievements in 2006, forward planning for 2007: discussion of the Associations achievements for 2006 and providing feedback on the proposed plan for 2007.
    Purpose: members to provide feedback on the proposed 2007 plan.
    Duration: 30 mins
  • Local issues: an opportunity for members to ask questions and discuss local issues for ALIA in their region. If there are any questions raised that cannot be answered at the meeting they will be put on notice and referred to National Office. Answers will be supplied to members in the region as quickly as possible. Duration: 15 mins
  • Evaluation: an evaluation form has been provided to encourage members to provide feedback on the regional meetings. Members are asked to complete the form as their feedback will assist us to improve planning for future regional meetings.
    Duration: 5 mins
