NPC 2002 Structure

The 2002 National Policy Congress (NPC) will be held in 2 stages

Stage 1: Regional meetings will be held in the capital city of each State and Territory. All groups will be invited to send one delegate to the closest regional meeting.

Stage 2: One representative selected at each regional meeting will attend the NPC to be held at ALIA House, in Canberra, on 2nd November 2002.

NPC 2002 Focus

The focus for the NPC 2002 will be on policy and issues relating to the Library and Information Sector as a whole. This is a departure from the previous two NPCs, which focussed on the internal restructuring of, and priorities for, ALIA.
