Library stars: best of the best 2010

The 2010 Library stars competition focused on initiatives in the four key areas identified at the ALIA Public Libraries Summit in 2009. The winners of each of the categories were:

  • Children, early reading and a literate Australia - City of Greater Dandenong Libraries, Victoria
  • Encouraging the digital economy and digital citizenship - My Language
  • Social inclusion and community partnerships - Logan City Council Libraries, Queensland
  • Health and ageing - The Hills Shire Library Service, New South Wales
