ALIA New Generation Policy and Advisory Group

Planning for the future 2005-2006

The New Generation Policy and Advisory Group (NGPAG) was formed in July 2002. Together, the nine members of NGPAG are working together to develop and deliver innovative and relevant services for new librarians and recent graduates to encourage them to stay in the industry and to become a part of the industry's association (ALIA). Current initiatives of the NGPAG include:

  • The New Graduates Group
  • New Graduates Group website
  • The aliaNEWGRAD e-list
  • New Librarian Symposium 1, 1.5 and 2

In order to determine the need for new services and activities, NGPAG is seeking feedback from a wide range of people who are either recent graduates from a library course or people who are in the early stages of their library career.

NGPAG would like you know what you think - we would appreciate it if you could take five minutes to complete this survey.
