ALIA Board of Directors December 2008 - Take home messages

The ALIA Member Survey has been completed and is currently being analysed. Thanks to all members who completed the survey for their input.
There were extensive Budget discussions including noting the declining investments due to the global economic climate. A presentation was made by ALIA's investment advisor from the ANZ.
Bylaw 4 amendments will be completed in time for Online voting for Board elections in 2009
The ALIA Public Libraries Summit 2009 preparations are going well and are following on from the successful Public Library Associations meeting that was held in November.
Progress of Publishing Action Plan was reported, with recommendations to be presented at the March 2009 Board meeting.
