• The Biennial Conference in Alice Springs was successful in terms of the papers, the number of attendees, and the atmosphere.
• Election schedule for 2009 is set. 2009 will be the first year using online voting.
• The Public Libraries Summit planning is underway and a Marion Nicolson has been appointed Project Officer.
• Members Survey will be launched at the end of October.
• The next face-to-face meeting will be 4th December, 2008 in Melbourne, before NLS4.
