Digital amnesia – the challenges of government online

Thursday 21 April 2005
9:30am–4:30pm National Library of Australia, Canberra

A one-day seminar to discuss the issues relating to access to government publications online.

The seminar is presented by the Australian Library and Information Association and sponsored by the National Library of Australia and the National Archives of Australia.

The seminar will examine the issues relating to access to and management of government publications online, now and into the future. The seminar is targeted at those who are responsible for high-level policy regarding publications in governments, both Commonwealth and state/territory.

A panel of users will represent those who use and rely on government publications and will give valuable feedback to the audience.

There are some good news stories in state and Commonwealth departments and we will showcase some of these.
