The South Coast & Illawarra Library Unconference
Whatever your kind of Library... and whatever your role is in that Library... this is the unconference for you! An opportunity to network and collaborate and celebrate the wonder of what we do and where we work and what libraries can be.
The unconference format creates space for peer-to-peer learning, collaboration and creativity. You will help determine the topics for discussion on the day, although the overall theme for the day will be the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how libraries can play a part in the delivery of these.
Delegates are requested to bring morning/afternoon tea to share. Lunch at own expense from nearby Stocklands Shellharbour or other nearby restaurants.
More information on the UN SDG's here: https:www.alia.org.au/advocacy-and-campaigns/think-global-act-local
Opportunity to tour the Australian Library Design Award Winning Public Library Category Shellharbour City Library.
Sessions will be designed around the topics suggested by participants and there will be 4 sessions throughout the day with 4 topics per session.
Lots of opportunities to interact and network!
