  • The National Library of Australia is seeking a senior cataloguer to lead the Oral History cataloguing team. This position is responsible for training and mentoring a small team cataloguing current and retrospective Oral History materials, preparing concise, coherent and informative abstracts from summaries of interviews and providing support for the Library’s web audio delivery activities.

    The occupant must have sound organisational skills, be flexible and have the ability to manage workflows, set priorities, and review and modify work practices.

    The occupant will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. A sound knowledge of Australian recent history and culture is highly desirable
