The University Library is part of Melbourne Students and Learning and is organised into several programs; Collections, Information Management, Scholarly Information and eScholarship Research employing a total of more than 250 staff.

Scholarly Information requires a dynamic individual for a Client Services and Liaison Librarian (Veterinary Science) role to work principally with staff, students and researchers based at the Parkville Campus, Faculty of Veterinary Science. In this role you will participate in Faculty liaison to the Faculty of Veterinary Science to ensure that teaching, learning and research are enhanced through skilled and ethical use of library services and resources. This will include delivery of a program of services including scholarly information literacy, resource development, information consultations, and research support services. In addition, the incumbent ensures that information and circulation services are delivered to required standards in the Veterinary Science Library.

You must have academic library and service desk supervision experience. In addition, the demonstrated ability to think laterally and creatively is essential.
